Checked out the other half of our new permission tonight 
Our first ever proper working farm 
We went after the rats tonight, put the bait out in two big barns next to a huge grain store and another barn containing silage and some cattle feed.
Seemed like the obvious place to start
Saw absolutely nowt through the N/V in both barns for the first couple of hours 
We had a mooch around the back where they was a large dutch barn next to a stack of hay on pallets.
Bingo! We found movement
The farmer has had the pest controllers in who have been putting poison down. My guess is they've been putting it down in the two big barns we tried first.
We only managed a couple of Rolands as it was getting late. By the time I retrieved mine (15 mins) from under a larges square drum the buggers had scranned most of it's tail. All that was left was a bloody stump!
