Air Arms Serial Numbers?

Can anyone help, I have had my S310 tore down and resealed and cleaned etc But I have gone over every inch and part of the rifle with a loop and I cannot find any serial number or any numbers anywhere which I think is a bit weird now I know they are only lightly lasered onto the rifle but mine has definitely vanished what are the legality of it not having a number?

All sorted Air Arms will provide new serial if I send them the rifle action.

if it's a S3** then sometime between '96 & 2000
