Hi all i am new to.air arms just bought a s410 c it is accurate but the bolt is very heavy had blisters on my finger is this normal.

Put a light smear of light oil on the bolt shaft and see if that makes a different

Is it seating the pellet easily?

Make sure you grip the bolt nearer to the central shaft rather than the ball end

Never ever grab the bell end unless it's your own

loosen the bolts on the beech a little and work the bolt back and forward . if it gets better then tighten the bolts back up while working the bolt back and forward . if it goes stiff again (the bolt , you dirty buggers ) just loosen off the bolts
and start again .
