Just saying hello. I’ve owned a S410 for a few years but only just become aware of the forum (after wanting spares for another S410). I’m not a ‘prolific’ air gun user as I have too many other hobbies!Hi all,

I live in Lincolnshire (just) and have farming origins so have been shooting, in one form or another, since the 1950s.

Started with a Webley Falcon 0.22 and now use it once a year or so. The ‘more-regular-use’ air rifle is the AA S410 0.22 carbine - which is a world apart from the old springer!

Just joined, having been a pistol shooter for a few years, but succumbed to a second-handPro Sport. Absolutely love it, and managed to bag a Bushnell Elite 4200 to match.

Have added a Rowan trigger, and also oiled the stock progressively to a gorgeous deep satin - which accentuates the wonderful tiger-stripe on the walnut.

Have tried various pellets, settling on 4.51 AA which seem to group tightest for me.
