Sorry if this is in the wrong section but I've just joined.
I've recently come back to airguns after a 20 year break. The last one being a Fac venom Hw80.
On returning to the hobby i have bought a Walther Rm8 and yesterday purchased a Tx 200 hc in 177.
OMG! the tx is a beautiful beast indeed and I've topped it with a Nikko Sterling 6-24 x50 diamond scope.
Can't wait to zero it over the weekend and have some AA field to try first.
I am thinking of fitting a sling so any experience of you chaps would be appreciated.
Many thanks Jon

Re: Just joined
Welcome. Just out of interest, is that a hint regarding the difference in quality between the RM8 and an AA?

Thanks Brooksy
I would say the quality of the tx is superior but the Rm8 is no slouch by any means. It's really well finished, very accurate and for the money i feel great value.

Welcome to the AAOC.
There was a thread on here a while back about fitting a sling. I cant for the life of me think where it was. If you ask in the general section somebody may point it out or be able to help.
There a quite a few tx owners on here.

Thankyou for that Kevin. I've sorted a sling out by fitting a Bisley13.5 mm clamp to the undelever so hopefully if I'm careful it won't open whilst it's on my shoulder. Looking forward to getting it zeroed this weekend.

Thanks for the welcome chaps. I drive a Fuel Tanker so hence the name.
Well I've Zeroed the tx today and all i can say is Wow!! Thought i would struggle with my grouping after using my pcp but i didn't at all really. With my trigger stick and a loose grip i have to say I've found it fantastic and i must admit it was refreshing not to have to recharge
. Liberating really
