 Stock advice
Well I'll be ordering a new stock within the next few weeks its just a case of which one? I'm finding myself torn between a cs700, a cs800 or a cs700 with trigger guard ( as it looks cool ). Any advice guys?

 Re: Stock advice
Well I have the CS800 on my S510 and I think it is great. It definitely improves my shooting as well as looking good.
They seem to be the most popular option judging by the number of people who have them on this forum. I haven't seen or tried a CS700 though.

 Re: Stock advice
CS800 for me too, comes with the adjustable butt pad and looks and feels quality. Be prepared they are very slender on the pistol grip make the rifle very pointable.

Butt pad removed as I was in the final stages of preparation. Will try to get a better pic tonight as it is finished now.

 Re: Stock advice
They will do anything you like, hence the name;) stippling was a no cost extra, grip cover maple and ? £15 Oh and I paid extra £? for a high grade walnut. If you win one on Ebay just ring and confirm your spec, really nice knowledgeable chaps.

 Re: Stock advice
If you want grade 3 walnut add £80 on average. Adjustable cheek piece about £25, adjustable palm shelve is about £75 they have to do it by hand. CS800 everytime nice looking stock at a decent price.

 Re: Stock advice
Well after a lot of thought I've changed my mind and I'm going to get a cs700 in a higher grade wood with stippling on the grip and a rosewood cap. I'll phone them tomorrow for a price. Hope its not too much. I'll let you know

 Re: Stock advice
Top tip, get one off ebay, it's cheaper If you can wait till they put one up that is!

 Re: Stock advice
I had a CS700 on an old HW100, It felt VERY nice but it is more of a "sporter" thumbhole than a "target" one. I used it for HFT but to be honest if I was to do it again, i'd go for a CS800 with a deeper fore end. As Knome says, get one off of ebay, lots cheaper and you just ring them if you win (and you will) and tell them of any extras or alterations you require.

 Re: Stock advice
I phoned custom stock for a quote and the price came out at £245 for a cs700 with higher grade walnut stippling and rosewood cap. It works out £25 cheaper through ebay. Don't know wether to get stippling on the front as well. Any views?
