Feinwerkbau 800 Junior 10m match rifle
Feinwerkbau 800 Junior 10m match rifle
I have a Feinwerkbau 800 Junior 10m match rifle , and due to an eye problem can no longer see through the diopter sights, so I know this is a long shot (if you’ll pardon the pun) but i wouldn’t mind swapping it for an EV2 Mk 4 in good condition, or even a deal with an FTP 900. The FWB is in pristine condition, fitted with an aluminium hamster/palm rest, and comes with FWB case, tools, manual, fill adaptor, and spare barrel weights. It would need to be a face to face transaction and I live in Portsmouth, although I’m happy to travel a reasonable distance.

You might be better selling a 10m rifle in Stirton.com. No fees and it attracts the Bisley crowd.
What price?
You may be better selling the hamster separately as it may not comply with ISSF/NSRA regulations. That can co on ebay.
As an aside if you only have the problem in right eye you can get a Mec Swap to use left eye. Not cheap though

Thank you Peter, I think, certainly for the time being, I’ll put a small scope on it and use it for 20yd benchrest competitions. Hopefully my eye will be sorted it on my next appointment in May.

Hope so. It’s amazing how eye defects are magnified by an aperture sight. Cataracts, floaters, AMD and epiretinal membranes in particular. Poor prescriptions rarely cause a problem. If you have a spare insert you can try drilling out to 2 or 2.5 mm, or get an adjustable one out to 3.0, and keep the eye very still.
There’s a great American scholarly article, but as usual I can’t find it!
