I have had a few Paul Short tuned rifles(still have 2)all weihrauchs, but i had the chance to shoot a tx200hc with the 22mm conversion last week & was impressed, a friend of mine who also has a tx was so impressed he ordered one & its now fitted.
However, after a day at the range, he saw his groups open up from 1cm to 5cm, & he is at a loss to figure out why. The rifle was accurate with jsb exacts, & he's wondering if its changed its taste in pellets, he has just left my house with 4 tins of different pellets to try, so i hope my new tx likes exacts as he's taken my spare assortment
With the 22mm kit it will produce more PSI per shot so maybe he will need to try a harder pellet.

Evening all.

Both my TX200HC's (a .177 and a .22) are both running Tony Leach 22mm conversions, and my TX200 .177 is running the 21mm conversion.

Fitting either conversion can change the rifles diet. My .22 TX200HC was extremely pellet fussy, shooting only AADF and AADHunters. It will now shoot JSB Exact's, Hades, AADF & Hunter, FAP and Superdomes. The .177 TX200HC has decided it now prefers Exact 4.50 instead of Express 4.52, whereas the TX200 is showing a preference for Exact 4.52 and FAP.

The main reason for fitting the kit(s) is to reduce the recoil and vibration. I find mine easier to shoot more accurately now, provided I do my part. They also have the added bonus of being smoother and slightly easier to cock than a standard rifle, which is very helpful to me.

Looked at a Tony Leach 22mm but went for a Welsh Willy and full bearing re-build, still like a little kick :D

Recently fitted a 21mm Tony Leach kit and it has transformed my TX200.

Very little recoil and very fast action.
