The subject says it all really.
My Mk2 has a sort of moderator (at least that is what i think it is) fitted to the end of the barrel. The retaining part for the cocking lever is attached to this. I would imagine that if a silencer could be fitted the moderator would have to be removed. Unfortunately doing that would also remove the cocking lever retainer. I would really like to make the TX as quiet as possible. Can anyone enlighten me on this or am I stuck with what I have? Thanks
Can a silencer be fitted to a TX200 Mk2?
Re: Can a silencer be fitted to a TX200 Mk2?
I've got a MK2 which was bought second hand. Previous owner had modified the barrel weight so a 1/2" unf male threaded silencer can be screwed on. Cam't remember who I had it off but I'd say anyone with a lathe would be able to modify it.

Thanks, I presume the barrel weight you refer to is the larger diameter barrel end that I thought was a kind of moderator? I 'll look into the possibilities of getting a suitable thread put on the end.
