				Good morning All,
The groups are opening up a little with my ProSport, so I thought I'd give the barrel a clean. I've got a pull-through, a drinking straw and some Napier cleaning cloth. What do I put on the cleaning patch (if anything)?
many thanks.

You can use any light oil although for a deep clean I use white spirit, make sure you remove every trace of oil though. If you're only cleaning because of group size increase then just try pulling a dry patch through first, I find that is often enough to put things right.

Ditto. Decided mine needed cleaning when the groups started to open up. Seems OK now.

GT85 has changed over the years. It used to contain teflon which worked really well.

Teflon is a trade name of a PTFE formulation made to coat fry pans. Raw PTFE is a white solid..We used to turn bearings from bar stock. Teflon is usually grey and baked on.
To most folk they are the same thing.
