What do you think ?? Just back after a plinking session with the TX,
whils't shooting my HFT target I got to thinking on the cocking arm,
why not fit a bearing in the cocking link, something on the lines of this

I have 3 TX's with over 100,000 shots on each. One is probably nearer to 200,000. I keep the cocking link pin slathered in 70% moly content grease and they are all nice and snug with no play. I remember that a few needed a pin punch to remove when they were newer, but now I'm able to push the pin out with my fingers. That's not a lot of wear for the usage. My idea was to cut a section out of the cocking link and weld in some sort of adjustment for length. That way you could fine tune the o-ring squish/lock up at the breech. The idea was as far as I ever got. The big Diana side levers have just such an adjustment, but it is sort of flimsy looking and I've seen them with evidence of welding repairs to this area. I assume they break.
