Never liked the ball detent latch so thought I'd have a bash at something different.

A small magnet. Hole drilled in aluminium barrel cover and magnet Araldited in place. Have done my mk2 as well, a slightly different approach though.

Neodymium magnets are fantastic. I use loads of them. Only problem is if you whack the lever up too hard they can shatter like glass.

Wow what an improvement it looks great, have you noticed an change in the sound of a shot, i am sure my under leaver vibrates due to the rubbish ball catch,
