It may be useful for new TX owners to list what pellets the rifle likes,
I've tried most in my .177 and the pellet it likes are JSB 4.53's, 4.52 RS's
and have in my pellet cupboard a new tin of Express, should do well in
both my Hw 100 and TX 200. I'm just waiting for a wind free day to try these.

Re: Pellet preference ...
The best I have tried in my prosport are accupels. However, they are all different. Pellet Perfect sell sample packs of 25 pellets for about £1.50 a time. Easy to try a selection for the price of a tin. Remember to shoot several of each new type before testing , in order to get the new lead into the barrel. Some types react badly with each other and the first few shots can be all over the place.

My TX .22 runs well on JSB Jumbos 5.51 , Proport .177 still bedding in but looking promising being fed JSB Exacts.
Born with nothing and still have most of it .

My .22cal TX200hc runs sweet on a diet of '5.52 RWS Superfield' and although it likes most of the top branded pellets Accupells/Superdomes/Premiers etc it's not all that struck on AADF's believe it or not, the grouping ain't bad but it's not the best either !...

I use superdomes in my .22 tx200hc. Good consistent results .I do clean them well as I've found lots of swarf in the tins,

Re: Pellet preference ...
My 177 tx for the last few years has been fed on aaf 4.52 with reliable accuracy at long ranger ranges. Though I've recently swapped to the lighter aaf express which appear as accurate at zero range allied to a more forgiving firing cycle.
Re: Pellet preference ...
TX200 HC. .177 shoots best with JSB Express, tried some JSB Exact 4.53s and got some good groups with them but Express are still the best. Exactly the same with my HFT500 as well.

Re: Pellet preference ...
Maybe a pellet worth testing for the tx 22 is falcon accuracy 13.4grn, absolutely stella in my s400, they're made by JSB and are very similar to jsb exact rs express.
Re: Pellet preference ...
Feels best with Express and a nice flat trajectory but, at 50m (or close to 55 of your yard thingies!) AA Field are the preferred option. They are softer (in most batches) than JSB Exact and that suits a springer well, skirt seals quicker, in fact they give a consistently higher efficiency than JSB's and for me they take less wind. Moderate wind no issue but above 10kmh the Express are all over the place.
If you have the suitable equipment then putting out at your max target distance (eg. 50m, tricky with a Combro, unless you own an SFS tuned gun
) your chrono and measuring consistency is a neat shortcut to the usual grouping approach).
Have fun and, as always, safe shooting...

for the .177 TX200hc I'd recommend JSB Express 4.53 as well, works sweet for me.....
