I have two Prosports both short stroked with tbt piston extensions 25mm HW seals and Titan XS no.10 springs.
They were both set up shooting nicely at 11.5 and have been fine for the last 4 months.
Now both of them have lost power dropping to 9ftlbs! Iv stripped them and the only thing i can find thats causing the drop,
is the Titans, which were new on fitting have lost nearly 10mm in length.
On fitting they were 232mm now they are 225mm.
Im assuming this is my power loss!
Iv tried adding preload but the springs become coil bound before any improvement is reached.
Iv always thought Titans were good springs?
Any ideas as to why this has happened? Both guns are running standard transfer ports.
Can anyone recomend a alternative spring i could try? Or any reason why two Titans should lose length so quickly?
Many thanks

Watching this closely.
Recently fitted a no10 in tx with tb piston head, with out the slip disc under the top hat producing 10 .5ish.So I best keep an eye on it.
I've used titans before occasionaly with no issues.

Re: PROSPORT SPRING GRIEF!
Iv just fitted a MK2 Prosport spring in my short stroked 14mm extension,25mm HW sealed MK3
Shes doing 11.4 with no added washers, cocking effort is only a fraction more than when running a Titan No.10.
Very quick shot cycle, but just a bit of muzzle flip, which is bothering me.
There is no loss of site picture, just the muzzle flip and thats with a silencer fitted.
Il shoot it for a few weeks, but might have to swap the spring out to my HC,which im assuming would handle the flip better??

Re: PROSPORT SPRING GRIEF!
Just a update on my post.
After a few outings the MK2 sprung gun has dropped in power to 10.7.
The muzzle flip has disapeared now.
I havent opened her to check the spring length as shes shooting nice at 10.7.
Strange goings on regarding the power drops and spring length loses..
