TX200 with a few surprise internals
TX200 with a few surprise internals
I just acquired a very new TX200 MK3HC. Chronoing it saw it running very hot indeed. Immediately I removed the four pre-load washers to bring it into the right side of the game but I noticed it had also a high power spring guide (according to a Knibbs exploded diagram). Is this standard or has it been experimented on? All ok now but shocked at what it was doing.

If you ring AA they will tell you by the serial number what the build was originally

Did I mention that I'm the only one to have attended EVERY meet since we started
Re: TX200 with a few surprise internals
What would be different about the guide to make it high power? I thought all the guides were the same except that they were 1 piece for a short time. My 2000 model came with the 1 piece guide with the washer crimped and brazed on. These were known to come apart and AA went back to the old style with the seperate washer and a shoulder on the guide.

Hi,I've got a tbt kit in mine, simple to fit, never needed any spacers,I did chrono it straight away, and several months later and it's still putting out 10.4 lbs, very pleased with the kit,a cheap and noticeable difference, not had any issues whatsoever, hope you get it sorted soon,

Cheers Its sorted now and running at very consistent and legal levels. Such an easy rifle to work on which I suspect is why it was "fully loaded" so to speak.
