Removing Rear Swivel S510 Ultimate

So whilst my S510 is being repaired and I'm looking at the huge bruise that come out on my hand from the rear swivel resting in my hand whilst shooting bench.

Obviously this is as much the way I've come to nestle the but in a rear V after shooting recoiling Rifles to my own devices for so long, my hand hurts...

Is there anyway of removing this stud.. Without undermining the adjustable comb?
Anyone tried it.

Loosen cheek piece, right side of stock, and if you remove the bolt, the sling fitting will drop out, can't remember, but think the sling fitting slides inside the tube for cheek adjuster, haven't done one of these in years, I also remember a chap taking a hacksaw to one, once it was removed
