Cleaning brass

Hi all I've got a s200 and the brass on the cylinder is dirty was gonna use brass until I read it deteriorated brass over time which would be devastating and not to mention dangerous just hoping you guys could help..thanks

I take it you meant brasso. Any metal polish would be fine as long as you buff everything off. Brasso leaves a white chalk in hard to reach places over time. Most people use a product call Peek as this cleans up nicely.

If you can't find Peek you can use Solvol Autosol available at Halfords or car spares and bike shops.

Yeah I did mean brasso...and thanks will have to look into this peek stuff
