Best Fittings fill probe 'upgrade' for S410/510 etc.

I see Best Fittings offer an 'upgrade' for the existing T-bar fill adaptor on the S510 (and other similar cylinders).

It appears to provide a 'standard' quick fill male connector as opposed to the proprietary AA one, so basically making for a more common fill connector.

It appears that it includes a valve (as per the original) to retain cylinder air.

Has anyone done this, and is it successful/worthwhile?

Yes, done it a while ago on a couple of TDRs, I much prefer it, and quite cheap as well , and loses that bloody great lump of brass

Not having one to actually put my hands on, is it (after emptying cyl) simply unscrew original and replace with BF valve/quick-fit coupling?

Looks like AA dust cap still goes on original cylinder thread afterwards?

Yes, really simple and cover/cap still fits. And all for only £12 what's not to like
