Air leaking

His All,
New to the forum as new to Air Arms.
Picked an S200 up yesterday, had air in it, so today put 30 or so .177 pellets through it.
Ran out of air.
So connected the T filling adaptor, coked gun, opened the valve on the top of the filling bottle, with the bleed screw closed.
Gauge goes up to 190-200 bar region.
BUT
air is leaking straight through the gun and out of the barrel.
Am I doing something wrong?
Or as advised by a well known shop in Raleigh Essex "the gun has major problems and you are looking at £140 plus parts to repair"
Help a new boy if possible, as have gone to pcp after an smk 78 keeps falling apart.
Thanks Phil
