After doing a lot of work on my recently acquired s200 during the period of lockdown, I can tell you what I have done to achieve what you are looking for.

Firstly I check to make sure there isn't too much pressure on the ball latch for the bolt. Having this tightened too much makes the ball drag on the bolt and the end of the spring that pushes the ball.

Then I had PTFE guides and slip disks made for my hammer spring, I got rid of the hammer weight as I have a Tench reg fitted.

Then I had the cocking bolt and hammer (striker) guides (the longer parts) made from peek to the exact width of the runners they move in.

These mods have transformed the cocking cycle of the gun.

Thanks, it's had a lot of work put into it and has been a great furlough project, just need my mounts to arrive and I can get out with it on a new local perm!

Can't wait, I am used to rapids, I have been shooting them for years (about 20), but I think this could be my new go to gun
