S410 Classic loss of power

I bought a new s410 classic 14 years ago and it has had very little use, it has not even fired a whole tub of pellets. The power is so low you can actually see the pellet leave the gun and bounce off wood. It used to be fantastic.
The gun has never been serviced, should i replace all the seals in the gun or if i discharge all the air will it reset itself?
Any help or advice would be gratefully received,
Many thanks
David

After 14 years I'd be very surprised if all your seals are still doing their job properly. Personally I wouldn't spend any time fault finding I would simply strip the whole thing, replace all the seals and clean everything, especially the hammer rail. While I was in there I would check the firing valve facing - in fact I'd probably replace the valve anyway.
Sorry if this sounds a bit daunting but, assuming there's no anti-tamper, no more than a couple of hours and about £15, if you replace the firing valve, a fiver if you don't. You could try just a clean up and see how it goes, but I doubt if you'll get away with it.
Good luck.

Use mollycotte 33 grease. If you order your spares from Julian Bond if you ask nicely he will send you some with your order.

after 14 years you definitely need to replace the firing valve. they suffer from extrusion

doesnt matter if you havent fired it much, just the fact its under pressure causes this. you'll probably be able to see a slight raised bit, or line, on the black plastic face of the valve, caused by extrusion
