Roger5 fitted mine (S510) and is better placed to advise. He's fitted several. But I've made adjustments to reg setting and firing valve pre-load since.

The Altaros reg is minimal intervention - no vent hole to be drilled, uses AA firing valve, original springing and hammer, no change to the transfer port, though I'd suggest you open the venturi screw and set the power on the firing valve pre-load.

The only thing you need to be careful with is the removal of any roughness and cleanliness inside the cylinder where the new reg chamber seals. Remember there was no need for AA to hone the inside of the cylinder so the finish may not be good enough to maintain a seal. A fine emery/carborundum bobbin on a drill will do the job, finishing by hand with fine wet & dry.

An excellent bit of kit... effectively gives you a sweet spot from 190 down to 110 bar. 70 shots from my 510 US, same total number as before but now with a spread of 8-9fps over the full cycle and typically +/- 2fps in any 10 shot string.

Altaros say the reg pressure can creep over time, caused by contamination of the reg inlet valve. They have a video showing how to clean the valve. Mine has been reset once in 5 years and I didn't need to clean the valve. I played around with different settings to get zero change in power as the gun comes off reg (set at 120 bar) and 11.3ft lb with 8.44gr AADF. Glad to let you have details, just send a PM.

I fitted one in my 200. Crept a bit after a few months. Adjusted it and all good.
As said, easy to install with minimal alterations

Have a look at this: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4545

The Altaros is still running well. I've fitted a couple of Lanes since then, and think the Altaros is every bit as good, and much less hassle to fit.
