EV2

Thu Aug 08, 2019 7:32 pm

Hi does anyone have any thoughts on my problem, well more of a niggle really.
I have an EV2 mk3 when I leave our club I fill the rifle and on returning to the club next week shot 1 is about 2” low, 2 is about 1” low 3 is 1/4” low 4 is spot on. In a normal session at the club I will refill 2 more times and the first shot after each fill is spot on. As I said more of a niggle

Personally I wouldn't fill it before you head off home, I would refill when next at club, probably just the reg settling down, or maybe a bit of creep, two or three shots back on the money, doubt I'd be all that concerned

Ok cheers for that Roger like I said it was really just a niggle but I thought I would pick someone else's brain, so consider your brain well and truly picked.
Best wishes
Ian

Sticky hammer rail will do that and after a few shots they come back on song. Is there anything sticky inside yours

My Mk4 does similar. After being sat for a day or so the first 2 shots are low and then it's bang on. I wouldn't be worried about it if I was you and just remember to fire several shots off at the start of a session.

I don't think I've ever used a gun, PCP or springer, that was spot-on first shot after being left for a day or so. Just pop off a few shots, or even dry fires and all should be well.
