S510TC replacement stock

Wed Mar 06, 2019 4:17 pm

Hi all
Anyone know a stock maker that can make a walnut stock for my S510TC
The standard one is made by Minelli and is a super light but is a very soft wood and easily damaged so I would like one in walnut, even a direct copy of the original profile would be fine.
I have tried Minelli with no response, Custom stocks said it would be too expensive to tool up for a one off.

You could try Tommy Bennet of Tillygunstocks. His work is excellent and he's a great guy to deal with. You'll find him on Facebook.

I spent ages trying to find someone to make a stock for my TC.
I gave up in the end and made my own from a chunk of beach laminate i found on eBay.
I'm currently working on a bullpup conversion for the same.

Thanks just Craig
Yes I am about to give up as well.
Did you have any issues with poi shifting on yours, I find with mine I can use it all morning at the range and it's fine, but if I come back to it after a break the poi has shifted around 50mm higher, I have managed to stop it doing this by removing the barrel band so the barrel is floating, however the barrel band seems to push the barrel up by a couple of mm when fitted, so without it the barrel drops which means I have to adjust the scope quite a long way to compensate.
