Galahad gap?

Hi all

I have a galahad .177 and when i have the qtec silencer fitted theres a (approx) 1 mm gap between it and the end of the barrel/shroud
Am i missing something?
Or is there a reason for this gap?

Can't remember if there is a seal that goes there, pretty sure there was one between the Q-tec and the shroud on the ultimate sporter

Has this happened after removing the barrel band or cylinder? If it's the same as the Ultimate Sporter it may be a slight misalignment of the shroud and barrel. If so, you need to slacken the screws holding the barrel band (more accurately a "shroud band" as it doesn't hold the barrel directly) to the cylinder so the silencer centralizes the shroud and locates fully into it. I'd not had a problem when I removed the silencer to pull through the barrel but after I'd taken the cylinder off and refitted it I had the same issue.
