S200 transfer hammer removal

I had the action of the S200 stripped down as far as the last transfer hammer. Adjustable hammer spring mechanism to the rear of the action hits a sprung transfer hammer that then hits the firing valve on the end of the air cylinder.
How is the transfer hammer and spring removed from the front of the block?

Hi,
If memory serves the firing pin assembly (you describe as transfer hammer ) is held in place by two circlips one each end.

Some how I doubt that it is removable from the muzzle end as logic says that it should have a stop to prevent it going too far into the cylinder valve .

Here a picture of my CZ200S Green .177

Hope this is helpful.

edit:
Can't upload a small jpg-file here - "Error - Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached".
Whatever that means.

So a link to my gallery showing a lot of pics of my tuning of this gun.

Firstly remove the grub screw securing the hammer spring tension plug from the right side.
Not sure if all models show this screw.

Then remove the tension plug unscrewing to the left until it falls out.

Thus the hammer spring with its guide will be free and come out.

The hammer is locked in the tube with the cocking pin on its left side (running in a slot) and an opposing grub screw accessible via a service hole in the receiver on the right side. Take out the grub screw firstly followed by the cocking pin itself consisting of three parts - the screw itself with two roller bush(es) on it.

Easy peasy but pieces are tiny - don't lose them.

Pelletcaster,
nice picture and desciption of how to remove the hammer and assembly. 8-)
However I believe the O.P. wants to go beyond that to the firing pin assembly ?
Anyone have their s200 apart that far ?

Hi Y-Geo,
Thanks - you'r certainly are right and I got it now.

Never took those parts out - here how they are described in the/my manual.
40 Striking Pin
41 Striking Pin Spring
42 dia 1.9 Retaining Ring

As you mentioned already in your post above there most probably are two retaining rings though only one mentioned in my manual - the rear circlip type one and the forward one barely seen on the drawing.
IMHO taking off the forward clip/ring should free the pin with the spring to go out to the rear.

Hi,
I am happy that you have sorted the problem and that this old brain of mine can still recall more than the last 5 minutes of activity
To you and all the Forum denizens have a great shooting New Year.
