+1 for Red Kite walnut oil, and if it starts to get too shiny you can always rub it down with 0000 steel wool.

I use "CCL Traditional English Gun Products Ltd Fine Wax Polish"Image It doesn't make it "shine" nor does it darken the wood.

I can't seem to attach a picture of the tin, sorry.

CCL products are fantastic. Palm it on and rub with vigour. The friction creates a gentle heat that works the oil in. Dry over night and repeat.
