S310 Barrel concerns

Hi,
My rescued S310 is giving me cause for concern. When firing the black barrel moves forward to reveal a light metal ‘inner’ barrel. I assume the black outer is a shroud of some sort? Can anyone advise if there are grub screws required or I have more to worry about?
Also, can anyone recommend somewhere I can go for a service in the Pontypool/South East Wales area? I need some piece of mind to find out if I’ve bought a dog or a bargain. Thanks in advance for your help.
