Hi, I bought a s200 in 177 about 3 weeks ago, i shot it twice at the range and all was well. The next time i shot it it
dumped air. I cocked it and tried to fill it, but the air went straight through the barrel. Next i took it to a rfd and they said it was the firing pin. Well today i fired 30 pellets, it then dumped the air again. and i could not fill again due to
air coming out of the barrel or breach. Any ideas would be appreciated. Back to the rfd monday.

Sounds like the firing valve. Did the RFD repair the valve or just offer an opinion?

No they just replaced the striking pin. I think it would benefit for a trip back to air arms factory.

It seams all sorted now. I did not realise the gun was not fully charged when i shot it so it dumped the air.
Thanks for your replies.

Once you know your sweet spot you can fill to that pressure and proceed to count your shots.
The drop in aim will be a better indication rather than a chrono.
