As the thread says im recently new to the sport (5-6ish months)
I have recently purchased my first PCP (s410 walnut thumbhole stock in .22) i bought this second hand at my local RFD. The rifle itself looks in really good condition. I had a go of it before i commited to buying it and I was happy with how it felt etc. I traded in my old springer (seen better days)
Anyway, I read on a few forums that you could find out how old the gun was by contacting air arms. I expected the gun to be a couple of years old (again, condition was brilliant) turns out it was manufactured in 2003!
As this gun is 15years old and without knowing any previous history of said rifle. Would it be worth going to Air Arms and getting a full service for it? Or is it easy enough to do by yourself (engineer by trade so im use to dealing with stripping things down)
Cheers!
