EV2 MK4 Transfer port

I bought a secondhand EV2 MK4 in very good condition , but the " Transfer port " thread for the setscrew is damaged . Any suggestion on how to fix this ?

I too have this problem.... the thread is so fine that mine has simply worn away. I currently use the proper screw with ptfe strip in, and an old screw to lock that in place. This has only about 3 threads to work on as the first few have simply gone.

Incidentally that was not done by removing the anti tamper.... it just simply wore out constantly trying to get a steady reading.

Doesn't help you I know but hopefully someone will come along and help us.

It seems to fine to use a helicoil.... so re-tapping a larger thread may be the only answer and I suppose providing that new thread gives you a tight fit, this should not affect the ability of it to fine tune the power.
