Can anyone recommend which breech height bracket I need to be ordering for my S400 classic, the 7-11mm or 11-15mm, also can't make my mind up whether to have the magazine slide in from the left or right? I'm right handed.

Re: Rowan Engineering Magazine
I think I've worked it out myself, they do a kit specifically for a S400, mine is the 400F which has a breech height of 15mm. And for me the left side one seems logical.

There are to height sizes 13mm or 15 mm, there is a little picture on Rowan website which shows you where to measure.Rog
Re: Rowan Engineering Magazine
I think there is something that suggests to right handers that a rh magazine load ought to be the natural way to go. For many I'm sure this is right but like the Op I found a LH magazine was best. I've never regretted it and find that holding the rifle naturally in my right arm leaves my left hand free to rotate the magazine. That said it really is a case of switching hands for cocking ,loading and aiming and one just gets used to whichever hand kit you buy.
A word of caution, Rowan mags do not seem to like short pellets eg JSB Exact Express compared with standard Exacts. The pellet is head heavy and can tumble when inserting and being hidden from view it is rammed into the breech. Whilst putting a rod down to clear a jammed pellet is simple with non magazine rifles the Rowan gets blocked and the whole thing has to be removed as you cannot slide out the jammed magazine.
A Wickes 4mm ali rod works wonders for clearing jammed pellets but round off the leading end very slightly as they can be sharp enough to damage the breech seal.
