S410 question

When i stripped down my 410 i found a plastic or nylon type washer in place of the oring between the breech block and the firing valve body . Did they use this in some models or did previous owner use this ? Thanks in advance .

The plastic ones last longer especially in fac version. The rubber orings can get shot out causing mayhem.
