Trigger setting

Wed Sep 14, 2016 9:19 pm

Hi all I recently started this hobby coming from mainly 22. Rim fire shooting for many years . Starred the air rifle thing about 6 weeks ago mainly just plinking shooting small animals etc so far I have bought 2 pips for myself and one for my 10 year old son AA 410 lever action in 4,5 mm AA classic 400 lever action in 5,5 mm and a Czech s200 for my son the two air arms are extra fac what ever that means . All 3 guns were bought 2nd hand and have had no problems so far

All 3 guns the trigger pulls are completely difnt want to adjust them so they are similar the aa 410 has a long first stage the 400 and the Czech very short looked in the manuals I found on the net but trigger setting instructions are clear as mud at best can't find any u tubes that are specific to our guns on trigger settings
Any help or assistance for this pellet gun noob will be appreciated
Don't want to start turning screws till I know what to do

Hi,
sorry - cant help with the AAs but...

while tuning my new CZ200S-Green .177 recently - great AG BTW - and digging the web I finally found the so far only valuable information concerning the trigger tuning here:

http://www.network54.com/Forum/79537/th ... 59/S200+Tr

I polished the sears and pins (hammer & spring too), shimmed left & right reducing lateral play, greased with MoS2 and set the trigger up following the a/m instructions.
After nearly 1k of pellets - trigger is really great now.

Hope this helps.

If you take the side plate off whilst adjusting you will get to see first hand what's needed.

Ta. Starting with stage 2 seems counter intuitive but it seems to be easier that way round and avoids running out of movement by ensuring stage 1 will just fire whatever you do with stage 2. (The "standard" method makes you back off stage 1 before finding stage 2.)
The OP on this rather old thread wanted all his AA Sxxx guns the same and this should do it.
