Hi guys I've just had a mishap with my Air arms ultimate sporter
As I cocked it the lever slipped out of my fingers and now the gun won't fire !
What have I done what can I do to fix it or is it a trip to the gun shop?
Cheers
Help please

Re: Help please
As Brian said it could be the sear. Take the side plate off and have a look.

This seems to be happening rather a lot lately, always S510s ultimates. Airarms are aware of problem, get your rfd to get them to send a new top sear to him, or get on to A/A yourself and get it sent to you direct, they are easy to fit, I have two S510s one is an ultimate and it hasn't happend to me yet, fingers crossed. It is not just Ultimates, as it happened to my S510 Superlite which was 2 weeks old

Re: Help please
Seems Air Arms should improve the sears then !
Although like I said the cocking lever did slip from my fingers

Re: Help please
Well I've stripped the trigger down tonight and can confirm the top sear is broken in half at the pivot hole.
I messaged Air Arms last night and they have asked me to have a look at the sears so I've messaged them again tonight with pictures so I'll keep you posted on their response

Re: Help please
Are the sears laser cut steel? Or monkey metal? I still don't see why theres a slot in all the pivot holes. That must weaken them but there must be a tech reason. Do Rowan make replacements?
