s400 barrel seal

First let me apologise if this ones has been done to death but I couldnt find it.
When firing the s400 i was getting a puff of air in the face so i did the tissue test over the breach and sure enough it jumped off when gun was fired.
easy fix I thought, just replace the barrel seal. I duly ordered a full sealing kit and used the part No FP121 seal to replace the old one. There didnt seem much wrong with the old one and I checked they were the same size before sticking the new one in. It was a bit fiddly as I was being careful not to damage the new seal. New seal was fitted at last Fired the gun and the problem is the same. Any one have any advice on this one?

Could be transfer port seal, moved/dislodged. Rog

The air is coming out out of the barrel past the pellet probe

how old is the gun 2 yrs ish or more old then you may need to fit S536 instead of FP121

Well have now tried the original and the 536. 536 was a real pain to get in and probe has more resistance when pushing home. Less air is coming out but is still escaping from around the probe seal. Around the 160 bar mark fps variation is really minimal so escaping air doesn't seem to be affecting much but its the principal of it. Its like going for your eye test ( where they puff air in your eye) every time you pull the trigger. I suspect a trip back to AA would yield little except a hole in the wallet
