I have just bought a nearly new S200 in .177, is it possible to fit a longer air cylinder to increase the shot count? and roughly what should I reasonably expect to get off a 190bar fill.
Thanks Gordon.

Longer - yes. Bigger diameter - no because the barrel is already nearly touching the cylinder. Longer barrel will mean compromised sound moderator or a slim stripper. Oo-errr
Standard cylinder will give 45ish shots which are consistent enough to hunt our compete. Regulated standard cylinder will give 65ish shots if the reg sits inside it. You can get up to 90 shots with a Tench reg which adds air volume due to a stand - off. He doesn't make these any more.

Re: S200 air cylinder question.
You can buy the HUMA regulator from XTX Air, although you would have to fit it yourself at the moment because the man in charge is having time off to do development projects, but this is the easiest regulator fit on the market. You would just have to play with the hammer spring adjustment and transfer port adjustment to make sure it is running legal and shooting the way you like. Here is a video of the fitting instructions of the external HUMA Regulator. The other option is to contact Phil Crampton of THE RATWORKS who fits the Robert Lane regulators, or buy on of the Altaros Regulators, which is another option, that are easy to fit, but you would then need to fine tune using the Hammer spring tension and transfer port power screw.
