Firstly I'm relatively new to airguns - so forgive any schoolboy errors.
I've just bought a pre-owned TX200 and want to try and lessen the twang/recoil, etc.
I've been guided to the TbT Maxi Pro Kit.
I've watched the video instructions at https://youtu.be/VQxNs_NMFms
The instructor suggests pushing down onto the barrel to reduce the tension of the spring.
I've done this but there is no movement.
The safety catch will only allow a fractional move - is that all it is?
I've even put the action in a sash cramp, using minimal pressure, but it doesn't move.
Am I ok to apply further pressure to release the spring pressure of have a missed something?
I don't want to exert too much pressure and do some damage.
Appreciate any advice.
Thanks

there wont be much movement at all. you won't need the sash clamp, i put the trigger block on the bench as im not keen on putting the barrel that way. when you take the screw out which holds the trigger block to the action you will feel a little movement. there is not too much preload on the TX/Pro Sport rifles hand force is enough.
