Why hasn’t the original owner not have a warranty.

Re: warranty
I've bought two TX200s from different RFDs since AA introduced their 3-year warranty. Both were made before the 3-year warranty came into effect, but both were sold with the 3-year warranty. One gun was used, previously sold by the RFD to another customer but returned in "as new" condition. I'm not sure if the RFD or AA is underwriting this warranty but the gun was advertised as having "3-year warranty" and I have the RFDs label and AA's warranty label. My contract is with the RFD so, legally, they have to ensure the warranty is honoured irrespective of whether AA warranties are transferrable. The way this gun is being offered it is clear the seller isn't offering a warranty,
The above doesn't answer the OP's question but I thought it might be of general interest.

Re: warranty
The gun is used, it may look "brand new" but what date was it made and first sold?

Re: warranty
Warranty is with the retailer not the supplier technically.

Re: warranty
Since warranties are over and above your legal rights (or if they're not, don't use them) they can be given by anybody. It's usually the manufacturer but it could be the retailer or your friend in the pub if it comes to that. You must deal with whoever gave the warranty. In this case, I suggest you speak to AA and see what they say.
