Galahad - fails to index

Not the usual indexing issue of the bent spring...

The only way to get the mag to index is to gently press on the bottom corner (pointy bit) and the cycle the cocking lever. If I don't do this it won't index, and I'm confused as to what is causing it.

Any ideas?

Only 4 weeks old so it will be going back but I need to find out what is causing it before I go mad....

It sounds a poor fit, not quite contacting the index lever.

It clicks out of place after each index and clear audible click when I apply very little pressure to the bottom corner...

Can't understand how it is moving

Have a look at the ballbearing inside the mag, I've seen them flat on one side, don't lose the little spring when you take it apart. Rog

AA want it back to check it over.. very helpful team they have, even gonna fit me a weaver rail
