Magazine Problems

Hi All

I have a S510 FAC in .22 and the rubber ring on my magazines keeps breaking.

As you can see in the picture the ratchet is not doing it because the wear marks are quite central to the carousel but there are what looks like lead marks on the rubber. Has anybody else had these problems and found a work around.

The gun has fired just under two tins only. I have never had a problem with my trusty old S410 which I have had for ten years.

I don't know if you can see the sharp shards of filings left over from the manufacturing cutting process. I am going to try and remove all the sharp edges and see if the problem goes away.

I personally don't use the O ring anymore and the mag works just fine and I find the feeding of the pellets into the barrel smoother.
All I do is load the mag. with one less pellet and leave open hole empty.
