s400 cocking problem with rowan mag

Hi all, I have read that you have to hold the bolt back further than when it cocks to index the rowan mags for the s400 so if you are a right handed shooter its better to get a left indexing mag, can anyone confirm this?

You can alter the bolt handle too suit the left handed shooter but the bolt would then be upside down if i remember correctly.

Not sure what you are saying, Rowan mags are very simple to use, cock it and turn the mag to index pellet, if you are right handed as I am I put the mag in from left side, if your a left hander get the kit that goes in from the right. Rog

Don't forget the bracket comes in two sizes ! Normally 15mm for late S400. Rog

Thanks Roger! Yeah since I have been looking at the mag kits I've measured,measured and measured again just to make sure! I need the 15mm version as my s400 is brand new, just need to wait till the 25th to buy one now!, in the meantime I'm now looking for a stumpy silencer that has the matching swirl effect that the original muzzle end has, the hugget belita fits the bill but not my wallet at the minute unless I can find a good deal privately, I'm not a big fan of the 5 and 6" long plain can silencers.

You will then need 10mm barrel adaptor, Rowan again I'm afraid, never ends does it. Rog
