I found although the S200 very accurate the POI could wander a bit.
So decided to free float the barrel.
Did a lot of filing on the barrel band and thought this would do the trick.
But I could not keep the barrel and air tube apart as the air tube was flexing.
I then found an article (Pdf) on fitting a homemade washer to the air cylinder the 'fixed' the flexing.
Anyway rather than a grinding down a washer I found a shim washer 28x20x0.5mm. ( £0.35p)
Made by ACCUGROUP which fits perfectly and indeed firms up the cylinder thus a free floating barrel.
Zeroed at 35y tonight and it shot a 5 shot clover leaf.
Hopefully problem solved and like me very simple.
Free Floating barrel S200 Mk2.
Re: Free Floating barrel S200 Mk2.
Doing both ... the washer + the clearance on the band will give you a great result. You can improve things further by shimming the gap between the band and the air cylinder with film negative.

Thanks Raj.
Not sure as gap is so substantial I can't see forend / band playing any active part. But please explain. Rob.
