S496 top sear spring screw

S495 top sear spring, how tight should S496 top sear spring screw be ? Also looks like later screw has a lip on it for spring to sit on, and not be crushed. All the user hand books that I have use same part numbers S496 but screw looks different. Anybody else noticed this ?. Rog
