aa s410 carbine .22

Fri Nov 25, 2016 9:44 pm

Hi all, although this might seem like a first post it isn't,for some reason I had to re-register even though I have been signed in under this user name since the new board went up.

Anyway I have a vgc aa410k in .22 with one problem....it shoots high and to the right so is being sold as a project,it holds air perfectly, cycles the mag perfect,no rust and it's pre-anti tamper, beech stock inc silencer, its doing 10.5ftlbs with aa pellets.
I have no idea why it's shooting the way it is,the guy I purchased it off said it had a service about 14 months ago by his local gunshop, whether theres a certain way the barrel is fitted on these I don't know as I'm not into gun smithing on pcp's
it's in vgc tbh just this poi problem.
There appears to be no 'o' ring in the top of the barrel band,I don't know if that would really make any difference to the problem.

asking £300

I will post some pics later.

Well after cleaning the barrel and finding that the barrel retaining screws were not done up,the front retaining screw wasn't done up at all and the rear was barely holding the barrel I have again put 40 odd shots through after sorting the former, and it now shoots spot on :D ...1 hole groups smaller than a 20p at 27 yds and no more shooting high to the left/right...it now shoots dead straight.
So it looks like whoever gave this rifle a service last OR the guy I got it from had messed with it hadn't put it back together properly.

Therefore this rifle is now withdrawn from sale as I shall be keeping this little beauty :D
