hot exhaust, bare leg...not for the squimish...
broke a cardinal rule about riding with shorts on...i was just going to the grocery a few miles away for a bottle of wine for the wife and i...came back and backed into the exhaust pipe with my right calf...that was done over a week ago and it's still incredibly painful...zp...

Blinking heck Zing. Next time get your wife to take your trousers off before she irons them! (I actually think you were just having a little 'branding fun' earlier....) Duncan

I won't try to teach you to suck eggs Tim, but there's a reason my bikes only got ridden in full leathers and I wince everytime I see someone riding in jeans or shorts or even worse without gloves. It'll heal up soon enough and it's another cool scar to add to the collection!

I know what you mean about the heat, it was a happy trade off for me as the thought of coming off in normal clothes is frightening.

Never in shorts, mostly in jeans and long runs in leathers. Hope it heals soon Zing, looks like it stung that one.

I got that the first post zing. Easy done. Any bike that has a hot exhaust near your legs when you ride would just be a plain daft design Done it myself on my cultivator exhaust or gone to pick it up before allowing it time to cool down and quickly let it go! What's a squimish btw - a cross between a squid and a fish
