Bashed into my skull with the end of a bloody slide rule.
I also remember the miserable tit of a maths teacher who ridiculed my result at coming 1st in my mock "O" level, according to him it was a fluke so the bar of chocolate promised to the winner was given to his favourite who came 3rd. At that point I decided education was a waste of my time. Hopefully todays teachers are better than that miserable old goat. I hope he had a very short retirement.

I'd made the mistake of sharing this with my 10 year old daughter some time back,
don't tell the kids at school I said,ok Dad.
One evening she pipes up,Dad tell mum the one about the constipated mathmatition......no need,she's already heard it and now she knows where you heard it too.
