I left the charging hose attached so as to read from the more accurate gauge and took readings every ten shots. The resultant curve was as close to linear as you could expect with the accuracy of interpolating the gauge's readings.

I'd be interested in the reply re date of manufacture. It seems that the first two digits of the serial number are the year, but I'm not sure whether they use a month or week designation and where it occurs in the serial. Just one or two confirmed by the factory should unlock the code!

I can't see any reason why a later OEM trigger shouldn't fit and work correctly. The pics I've seen of the early S400s have a more set-back trigger, much like the Rowan replacement!
