Re: RWS branded TX200
For sure a TX200. I only have 8 and have seen a few RWS TX200's. Even seen one in SR form, but again, all MarkII guns. Where the Air Arms normally is, there is RWS stamped and in the same font as TX200. Air Arms is not on these guns at all. Makes the 3rd one I've shot and all are normal Air Arms as ...

Re: an odd sensation...
Just buried my Dad Saturday before last. He had been battling dementia for several years and it seems he's been gone for a while. I have 2 younger sisters and the one 2 years younger is a fine sister, just as yours was. The one that's 8 years younger is a different story. Dad wasn't even cold yet wh...

RWS branded TX200
Went down south to a FT match Saturday and one of the regulars asked me to look over his TX. It's a MarkII in the #9,000 serial range, but it's marked RWS instead of Air Arms. I see them now and then and all are MarkII's. This gun was fairly accurate and seemed pretty normal for a FAC TX200 MarkII. ...

It was 89 F yesterday in good old central Florida. I sure wish I could could trade a bit of that in for a bit of your chill. 89 in Feb. is just wrong.

Field Target practice
My practice sessions have been pretty dull this week. Shoot a few warm up shots at random pellets holes, on my 25 m practice paper, then pick a brand new bull only to have the first pellet take the center out. Move out to 50 m and shoot enough to make sure my elevation is still on. Took about 5 shot...

Re: Prosport Mk ll ?
Measure how far the piston stem sticks out past the rear edge of the piston body. MarkI and MarkII are about 45mm where the MarkIII is around 30mm. The only short stroke Pro Sport I've seen had only the 2 forward screws in the stock, but the spring you describe is a MarkI/II spring. Maybe your gun i...

Re: TX200SR dissassembly
Was just told by another SR owner, Cloverleaf on the Airgunforum, that the end of the cocking link contacts the screw head near the end of the stroke and pushes the whole action forward. I guess you are lifting the action and compressing the last bit of spring to lock up and that's why it gets harde...

Re: TX200SR dissassembly
I'd have to take my gun out of the stock, but I'm pretty sure there is a shiny spot. The hole has no threads, so no grub screw.
