Re: My TX200 .177 build

Is it just me or does anyone else thing the Mk3 TX and HC would look so much better with a Mk1 front end/latch set up ? The older HC models had a round, blued holder, just like the old MarkI and MarkII guns, only a tad shorter. I fitted them to both my MarkIII's and they do look so much better. The...

Re: Grub Screw in the TX200 Chamber

It's the tip of the screw that holds the front stock bracket to the receiver. With the stock off, it's the little aluminum piece that the forward 2 stock screws go into. It can loosen over time and cause accuracy to fall off pretty badly. I always remove it, clean the threads and the hole, and add s...

Re: Tin Bum Tuning - Short Stroke fitting.

That's the effect of the short stroke nose extension. More preload needed to try and make power. I can almost guarantee that with a standard spring, maybe 2 washers and no short stroke you'll be back up to 11 ftlb+ Just out of interest why a maccari seal instead of the standard item? Timmy, I feel ...

Re: I feel his pain

The reason I suggested the water is, a fellow I know had the same thing happen, but it was a large black and white rat. He finally got it with the water, but it took 3 days.

Re: I feel his pain

I would think it may be getting thirsty by now. Try a little bit of water in a jar lid.

Re: TX200 trigger parts

That'll be TX380A. At least that's what one of my old manuals has listed for the trigger chassis.

Re: Prosport piston

Fill the piston with brake clean or mineral spirits and let it sit for a while. I use a thin stiff piece of wire to slip down beside the latch rod and try to get the weight moving. I then use a block of wood to bang the piston stem down on. Usually gets the job done.
